Serving the Most vulnerable in our Community is sharing our Love for All People, in the Heart of Mansfield
Our Soup Kitchen provides a warm space, with comfortable seating, a warm welcome, Soup, Tea / Coffee and Sandwiches. If you are in need of warm food and hot beverage you will be made most welcome at Bridge Street.
The Soup Kitchen opens in the Church Foyer on Monday and Friday nights (including bank holidays) from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
We are active members of the Mansfield Homelessness Network, and we work with all the other Soup Kitchen Provisions across Mansfield to share training, experience and best practice. All of our teams are volunteers, some from our church community here at Bridge Street and a number of volunteers who are not part of our Church Community, but are very much part of Bridge Street. We are so grateful to the whole team for wonderful acts of service and kindness you perform every week.
It takes a great deal of food to service our Soup Kitchen and so we are always grateful to receive donations of food, Soup, bread, cheese, tuna, eggs, margarine, tea, coffee and Sugar. We also always appreciate monetary donations, as well as donations of clothes for the clients to take away with them.
Thanks for anything you can give
